Bee Nail Art

Hey guys! I just did a new spring/summer nail design...

A bee and flower! I used Total Nail RX, Fill Me In base coat. Then I painted all my fingernails two coats of Pure Ice, "Excuse Me" nail polish, and finally I used Milani, Nail Art with Precision Brush to draw the bee's path on three of my fingers and the bee on my index finger. I used a tooth pick and white nail polish to do the bee's middle part of wings and eye. Surprisingly, I haven't got a white nail pen yet. I just used a flower sticker for my thumb nails. I sealed it in with a Sally Hansen, No Chip Acrylic Top coat. This design is similar to a design on youtube by cutepolish. I love to watch cutepolish videos, she explains how to do the nail art very clearly and she has some really cute designs!

Valentines Nails

Happy Valentines day everyone (early)! I recently did Valentines Day themed nails. Here it is...

I used Sally Hansen, Diamond Strength ("Champagne Toast") nail polish and painted all of my finger nails two coats of this. I then used Nicole ("Love Your Life") nail polish and painted a coat of that over all my fingernails except the thumb nails (with two hearts on each nail that I painted except the pinky, where I used one heart). My last step was to draw a red heart on my thumb nail with either a nail art pen or a nail art brush.

Black and White themed nails

I recently did a "Black and White" themed nails...

Newspaper nails and zebra nails. You can find some good tutorials for the newspaper nails and zebra nails on youtube. I used white polish, newspaper print, rubbing alcohol, and a sally hansen top coat for the newspaper nails, and white polish and a black nail art brush for the zebra nails.

New Years Nails

Well, I got the pictures on my computer. As I was doing this design, I took a picture after I did each step. Here it is...

My first step was putting on Total Nail RX base coat...

My next step was putting on "Black Creme" polish (Wet n' Wild, Wild Shine)

I then drew 2012 on my nails (one number on each nail) with Sally Hansen nail art pen (silver)

The last thing I did was put a glittery polish on my thumb nails (Sally Hansen, Hard as Nails, Xtreme Wear, "In the Spotlight")

Happy New Year everyone! I just recently designed a new years nail art design. I don't have the photos on my computer yet, but once I do, I'll post them. :)

Christmas nail art design

Well, I'm back today and ready to show you my fabulous Christmas nail art design :) It's a candy cane marble (red and white). For those of you who don't know what a marble is, check out youtube and type in "nail art marble" and you will see some good demonstrations. It's basically when you have a cup of water and drip some nail polish in and dip your nail in it (of course, it's more complicated than that). This was my first time doing a marble. I used Wet n Wild, Wild Shine (French White Creme) and CQ (Crimson Pearl). It didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would :)...

I'll keep you updated for my next nail art design (I was thinking about a new years design).

Merry Christmas! I'm getting started on my new blog (I already have two others). I'm giving this blog try. I really like nail art and painting my nails, so I thought I'd make a blog about it. I'll put some pictures of my Christmas nail art soon, but right now I have to go. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
